Abstract

This project proposes to develop ten dashboards to support the creation of a virtual petrographic laboratory that will be used in three identified second and third-year DPES courses. Specifically, the project team will develop a multifaceted ‘virtual petrographic laboratory’ database that students can use to study rocks, minerals, and fossils using 3D models and a virtual petrographic microscope from home.
